Impact on Evolution!
By us using selective breeding to select and breed the desirable trait that we found in animals
and plants we are influencing the evolution of those organisms. Selective breeding within a gene
pool of an organism can result in more subtle types of breed evolution which over time can bring
about significant changes in breed type. An example of an animal that has totally changed its
evolution due to continues selective breeding are dogs.
Dogs are generally thought to have descended from wolves. From Small gene pool originally to about hundreds of many other
breed of dogs and this has happen because human where always selectively breeding them. Those dogs that started from one
animal have been evolving in different ways and now they are almost looking like different species. This has affected
the evolution of those species because now most of them can’t breed with other dogs they are able to breed and have offspring
but they can only breed with animals of the same breed with not with different breeds.
